Acceptance of terms

By using the Effata website or product, you agree to these terms. If you are using Effata on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.

Product availability

Effata is under active development. Features, outputs, and availability may change, and the product is provided without guarantees of uninterrupted service.

Outputs are implementation guidance — not a substitute for expert review

Effata's outputs — including posture assessments, policy recommendations, Netskope policy packs, required object checklists, testing plans, and design documents — are implementation guidance. They should be reviewed by qualified security and vendor experts before being enforced in any production environment.

Your organization remains responsible for the policies it deploys, the data it protects, and its own regulatory compliance. Effata does not provide legal or compliance advice.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Effata only for lawful security and governance purposes within environments you are authorized to assess, and not to attempt to disrupt the service, access other customers' data, or misrepresent Effata's outputs as certified audit results.

Intellectual property

Effata and its underlying models, frameworks, and content remain the property of Effata. Deliverables generated for your organization are yours to use internally and with your clients as agreed in your service arrangement with Effata.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Effata is provided "as is," and Effata is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the website or product. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product matures. Material changes will be communicated to active customers. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
